Cactus Foundation

Since it was founded over a decade ago, Cactus Foundation has reached out to over 120,000 children with its awareness programmes on sexual abuse, powered by a team of dedicated volunteers. It works with government schools to conduct these programmes, and also provides training for teaching staff.

Bioskop Bisik in Indonesia pairs people with visual problems with volunteers who describe movies to them, allowing everyone to enjoy movies.

Volunteer Guitar Connection

Volunteer Guitar Connection began in Singapore with just 10 volunteers in 2004, and has over 290 members who perform at nursing homes and for other social service organisations. It also works with organisations to reach out to marginalised youth through music.

Escuela Taller de Filipinas Foundation

Escuela Taller de Filipinas Foundation was founded in 2009 to Manila, Philippines to train disadvantaged youth in specialised skills to improve their circumstances, while helping to preserve heritage structures. It has trained five cohorts of 217 heritage restoration workers.

Batik Boutique

Batik Boutique is a social enterprise in Malaysia that hires low-income women to sew apparel and other lifestyle products, made from batik created by artisan families. It currently works with 150 artisans, and it has also trained 29 seamstresses.

MyBirthday Foundation

MyBirthday Foundation was set up in 2012 in the Philippines to help people to throw a party in support of a cause or individuals in need. The foundation works with charities and institutions to plan celebrations and connect them to sponsors.
